Once you've taken time to familiarize yourself with some of the opportunities available to you and your family through the ministry of the Ivy Log Baptist Church, possibly you will identify some areas that we could assist in meeting specific needs in your life. At Ivy Log, we work very hard in developing programs and opportunities that will help followers of Christ, regardless of age, grow in their spiritual lives.

However, our first concern is that you experience salvation through the saving power of Jesus Christ. You will make many decisions throughout your life, but there is no decision more important than inviting Jesus into your heart as Lord and Savior. This decision alone will determine your eternal destiny.

Soon after becoming a Christian, the selection of a Bible teaching, Christ-centered church home is vital to spiritual growth. If you have needs in either of these areas, please allow us the honor of helping you satisfy those needs.

Again, thank you for the privilege of allowing us to share Jesus with you. We love you and invite you to come worship with us!

Helpful Information

Q: What kind of church is Ivy Log?

A. We are a very friendly country church. Nothing fancy. Casual dress. We average around eighty in attendance except for a couple of cold winter months when attendance is sometimes less. On special days we will usually have more than 100 in attendance. Our music is mostly traditional. We have an active youth program that is directed by  qualified adults that have years of experience. We are distinctively Baptist, holding fast to sound doctrine. We love our Lord and we love people from every walk of life.

Q: Does Ivy Log provide a Nursery and Children's Ministry?

A: Yes. It's optional. If you are more comfortable with your child staying with you during Worship that's fine, but we do ask that you take your child to the nursery if they become too noisy. We have capable, experienced and caring nursery workers. Our nursery will become available during Greeting Time which is just before the message.  During Worship we also have two other youth ministries. Youth Leaders will lead children, from age 6-12, to the Fellowship hall after the Offertory. Ages 3-5 dismiss either at that time or after the choir sings, depending on who has the class that day. They are led by one of our workers through the side door and then gather in a room down the hallway for their bible teaching.
